The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre was a £300 million scheme carried out in conjunction with Interserve of several new builds, along with the renovation of the historic Stanford Hall.
CG Reynolds undertook the SFS linings to exterior walls to seventeen buildings & over 23,000m2 (utilising Hadley Steel Framing Systems), with Cement Board & EDPM at all to ensure an airtight seal within the cavity. We also carried out a “wrap” of the early 20th Century Grade II* listed theatre, to prevent any further deterioration & preserve the original structure.
CG Reynolds also installed Hadley Steel Framing steel joists to the roof space of numerous buildings. This created a loft space for plant to ensure it had minimum impact upon the day to day running of the hospital. Importantly, the aesthetics of the build were not compromised.
